Acoustic floor insulation for commercial premises such as shops. Directly applicable to existing floors, on which a ceramic or stone floor is applied.
Isolgomma Sylcer is suitable for retrofitting existing buildings with tiled floors. Sylcer is a rubber mat of carefully selected, high density recycled material that reduces impact noise.
The mat is applied directly to existing floors without removing the original tiles or to existing screeds. New tiles can then be bonded directly onto this acoustically insulating surface.
Isolgomma Sylcer is manufactured with environmentally friendly technology and production processes, using more than 90% recycled materials. This series contributes to the point system according to LEED within the coding of Materials & Resources 1-1.2-2-3-4-5.
Applications
Isolgomma Sylcer is mainly used on existing floors in commercial areas, such as supermarket floors, where there are flats above the supermarket. The use of Sylcer prevents the flanking contact noises that arise and can cause nuisance in the flats above.
