SIREX PE 3006/005
ACOUSTIC FLOOR INSULATION
Made of a high-quality, permanently elastic, closed-cell branched PE foam, covered on one side with a strong foil with overlap for taping the seams. Supplied on rolls of 1 x 5 metres, overlap 5 cm, with a thickness of 6 mm.
SIREX PE 3006/005 has been specially developed as a single or double layer acoustic floating screed system to improve the acoustic and thermal insulation of floors and walls separating homes. SIREX PE 3006/005 is made of a high quality, permanently elastic, closed-cell branched PE foam, which is covered on one side with a strong foil with overlap for sealing the joints.
Applications
Excellent for use under all types of screed. Finishing with sand cement or anhydrite screed.
Acoustic performance
Reduction of impact sound with concrete bearing floors (according to NEN 1070):
Single-layer floor system Improvement according to impact sound insulation index: > 5 dB (Ico = 12 dB)
Two-layer laying system improvement according to impact sound insulation index: > 10 dB (Ico = 16 dB)
