Acoustic floor insulation
Nothing is more annoying than noise pollution. With the busyness of the day, it is great to come home to a quiet house in the evening. Then you don’t want to hear the unwanted contact sounds of the neighbours or their footsteps. Acoustic floor insulation offers the solution.
It is a special form of insulation designed to reduce sound transmission through floors to make an optimal floating screed. By using damping sheets or insulation rolls, the impact of impact sounds such as footsteps and falling objects can be reduced. In addition, acoustic floor insulation can also help absorb airborne noises such as voices and music, this requires a thicker version of floor insulation.
Our acoustic floor insulation is suitable for semi-detached buildings but also for flanking noise, for example in a flat above a supermarket. This reduces the impact noise from, for example, delivery trolleys in the shop to the flats above. In addition, our expertise is also often used for inner-city areas, building renovation or refurbishment and in the retail sector. Our impact sound insulations are suitable for any type of structural floor. From wooden floors (e.g. CLT), beams with boards to concrete slab floors and hollow-core slabs. We have an acoustic solution for any structural floor and any type of screed. We know exactly which insulation fits under the concrete floor or which floor insulation is appropriate for the building in order to create the best-performing floating screed. We prepare an acoustic performance report in advance so that we can provide the perfect solution. Feel free to contact us for the possibilities.

Sustainability
At ISMT, we do our bit for nature. That is why 90% of our acoustic insulation for floors is made of recycled materials such as recycled rubber. By doing so, we reduce our use of raw materials and reduce our ecological footprint. So the next generation can also enjoy sustainable acoustic floor insulation.
