HIGH ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE FOR LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION FLOORS

Existing wooden floors (renovation/transformation) and CLT floors (new construction) have a lower mass compared to concrete floors. In order to meet the building regulations (or higher), acoustic measures must be taken.

Isolgomma Highmat was developed especially for such lightweight structures to achieve very high acoustic performance for floating screeds, but can also be applied to concrete structures to achieve an even higher acoustic improvement. Isolgomma Highmat is a combination of rubber strips in a polyester fibre panel. The panels are easy and quick to install and provide optimal impact sound reduction. Isolgomma Highmat can be used under both an anhydrite and sand cement screed.

Highmat is also suitable for the acoustic insulation of floors in music and video production studios and in music halls due to the improvement in low frequency sound.
