What does OEM mean?

OEM is an abbreviation for Original Equipment Manufacturer. At ISMT, OEM is interpreted ‘everything is custom’. To realize custom products, we use various converting methods depending on the customer’s product. Each customer that is categorized under OEM has unique requirements. Whether it is custom mats, insulation covers or various products for different defenses, at ISMT we can provide both semi-finished and finished products. It all starts with the customer’s idea and desires.

It starts with a good idea

At ISMT, OEM always starts with a good idea from the customer. When a customer comes to us, they state their needs, desires and requirements for the product. We offer the customer advice on materials, combinations of foams and other details appropriate to the idea. Throughout the process, we guide the customer. Once the customer agrees to the proposal, we create a “golden sample,” an approved sample. If the customer is satisfied with the golden sample, we proceed to the production of the custom product. Moreover, after production, we can also take care of the packaging of the product.

So in the OEM market, everything is customization. Every customer and every project brings new challenges. Each product is unique and requires a specific processing method.
